Watch the video to find out more and as usual learn some English expressions and improve your English listening and speaking. Activity 1. Discuss the questions:
- Do you like travelling?
- What about travelling to the Sahara desert or North Pole?
- Have you ever done any extreme tours?
- What do you think of people who like such type of tourism?
Activity 2. You are going to watch the video. Look at the title and preview and try to guess what it is going to be about.
Activity 3. Watch the video. What is the story about? Answer the questions:
- What did Jade climb when she was six years old?
- Describe what she achieved at the age of twelve.
- What challenges did Jade face during the trek?
- How did Jade overcome the challenges?
- How did Jade feel when she returned home?
- Jade is hoping to achieve the polar hat-trick. Explain what that is.

Activity 4. Match the words from column A and B to make expressions from the video:

Activity 5. Complete the sentences with the expressions from the previous exercise:
